Armagh Are Magic
Saturday 29 November 2008

Armagh oversee Flyers in a great team preformance.

After overcoming the 'no-show' of the appointed referee, Magic's coach Mark O'Neill took over the job.  With little time to play the game, a running clock was the way to go.

Armagh took control of the game from the start, playing a quick paced game.  They played Flyers at their own fast break game and got the better of them.

A few good breaks from Carrick saw them come back into the game, but by the end of the 1st quarter Armagh had built a controlling lead.

Some good display of team work saw Flyers slowly show their promise of a good game, but unfortunaetly, the younger team of Magic were able to match the Flyers performance.

With time running out, Flyers began to show their potential, but is was too little too late, as Magic broke down some of Flyers plays & executed their offences at a a higher rate.

A good display of basketball from both teams, with Flyers gripping on to a fair result.

Magic have gone unbeaten now 7-0, with Flyers being the only team to show some solid defending to reduce the normal 100 scoring team to double figures only.

Let's see if Carrick can get back to winning ways in their next match.
